The signing of the licensing agreement for the second Cargo station between the holding company and the Singapore company (SATS)
under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Governor of the Riyadh region and in the presence of His Excellency Minister of Transport Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser and His Excellency Chairman of the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors MR.Abdul Hadi bin Ahmed Al Mansoori and CEO of Civil Aviation Holding Company Eng. Moaeed Bin Hawaij Al Salloum, and a number of state and company leaders. The cargo village was launched at King Khalid International Airport on Monday, 18 Jumada I 1441 / January 13, 2020. The cargo village has an area of 275 thousand square meters and a capacity of 1.6 million.
This decision came as a step to achieve the goals of the program of developing the national industry and logistic services to enable our country to be a world leader in the field of logistic services and to attract international shipping companies.
The ceremony included the signing ceremony by His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Civil Aviation Holding Company, Mr. AbdulHadi bin Ahmed Al Mansoori, to grant the license of the second freight station to the Singapore company (SATS), as well as a number of licenses issued to start the construction and development works for a number of companies.
