The Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Company (SAVC) was established under the Royal Decree No. (78/M), dated 20/11/1429 H, and is wholly owned by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).
The Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Company is a PSP strategy based that work to transform targeted units into viable, competitive business entities that meet the highest international standards across every aspect of their operations. This strategy creates a roadmap that aims to separate legislative and regulatory aspects from the operational and administrative aspects of the targeted units.
SAVC has been entrusted to oversee its subsidiary Companies -strategic & financial- , and to realize the following key objectives:
• Raise the standards of airports marked for privatization, in line with the latest global aviation industry developments and trends.
• Improve the operational efficiency of the targeted airports and boost their revenues.
• Encourage greater cooperation and integration between the privatized strategic units, ensuring financial independence.
